Research Activities of Yota Maeda
I am a mathematical scientist.
Research
My research focuses on algebraic and arithmetic geometry. I also study mathematical questions arising in machine learning, information theory, and quantum computing.
Across mathematics and the broader mathematical sciences, I seek to understand the mathematical structures underlying problems and how these structures can guide us toward solutions. I am particularly interested in connections between different areas, through which ideas developed in one setting can offer new ways to understand and solve problems in another.
